Reco raises $55M to expand AI agent security platform
Reco has raised $55 million in a Series B extension, bringing total funding to $140 million. The company is repositioning around AI agent security.
Reco announced it has raised $55 million in an extension of its Series B funding round. AT&T's venture arm, Forestay and Quadrille Capital participated in the round, according to TechCrunch. The new capital brings Reco's total raised to $140 million.
The company has repositioned around a broader AI agent security solution that uses a context graph. Its platform integrates with more than 280 apps. Reco says it has more than 100 customers, with financial services accounting for about 40% of its business. Annual recurring revenue is in the double-digit millions of dollars and is expected to triple this year.
Reco's valuation has more than doubled since its Series B was announced in February. In February, the company announced a $30 million Series B round.
Until last year, Reco mostly sold software to map and secure SaaS and AI platforms. The shift reflects growing demand for tools that secure AI agents, not just the platforms they run on.
Earlier this month, HiddenLayer co-founder and CEO Chris Sestito said over 50 of his customers have AI agents in production touching critical systems. Separately, Cymphony said it found about 85,000 files accessible to AI tools and agents at one U.S. public company.
