Rimini Street Unveils Agentic AI Layer for Existing ERP Systems
At Street Smart Korea, Rimini Street presented an "augmentation" strategy and Rimini Agentic UX, an execution layer that adds AI agents without replacing ERP.
Rimini Street presented an "augmentation" strategy for enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems at its "2026 Street Smart Korea" event, held to mark the 10th anniversary of the company's Korean subsidiary. According to datanet.co.kr, the strategy keeps existing ERP systems in place and adds an agentic AI execution layer on top, rather than replacing the ERP entirely.
CEO Seth A. Ravin presented the plan, which centers on a product the company calls Rimini Agentic UX. The company described a three-stage agentic AI ERP transition: process improvement, process automation, and then applying AI agents in areas with proven returns. Rimini Street said it advises an "AI Last" rather than "AI First" approach, applying AI agents only where ROI and cost-effectiveness can be confirmed.
Rimini Agentic UX is not tied to a single platform and can work with ServiceNow as well as other AI tools such as Microsoft or Palantir, according to the company. Rimini Street also presented its "Rimini Smart Path" program, which it said reduces unnecessary upgrade and migration costs so that funds can be redirected to AI and automation innovation.
The company cited two customer results. A Korean industrial gas company applied agentic UX to its supplier master creation process, cutting new supplier creation time from 1-2 hours to about 10 minutes. An advanced materials and manufacturing company reduced sales order processing time from 2 days to under 1 minute.
