SailPoint unveils AI agent governance tools at Navigate 2026
SailPoint introduced SailPoint Autonomous Agents and IdentityIQ 9.0 at its annual conference, alongside plans to open a Korean data center.
SailPoint Technologies Holdings announced new capabilities at its annual conference Navigate 2026 on October 20, aimed at protecting both AI agents and human identities. The update centers on SailPoint Agentic Fabric and SailPoint Human Fabric, both built on SailPoint Atlas, according to dailysecu.com.
The company introduced SailPoint Autonomous Agents, a set of specialized AI agents built to govern other AI agents. Rather than only blocking agents when anomalies occur, the system uses identity information to distinguish legitimate intent from malicious activity. The agents continuously monitor runtime activity and apply zero standing privileges.
SailPoint also presented an autonomous identity security posture management capability that draws on real-time identity data from Atlas. It continuously detects dormant accounts and hidden over-privileged users, and supports one-click actions such as revoking or disabling access. Automated workflows across the platform were strengthened as well.
The company released IdentityIQ 9.0 to simplify access governance for users, and said it plans to meet global compliance standards including FedRAMP High and PCI DSS 4.0. It also plans to open a Korean data center to serve the domestic market.
SailPoint said the new features deliver four core values: comprehensive identity detection, compliance support, security posture improvement and operational efficiency. Through integration with Entro Security, the company plans to extend identity governance to the credentials AI agents depend on.
