Salesforce brings Partner FDE program to Korea, targets 100 experts

Salesforce announced on October 20 that it is introducing its Partner FDE (Forward Deployed Engineer) program in Korea, with the goal of training more than 100 experts in the country next year.

The announcement follows a three-day workshop titled "FDE Ready: Making Agent Matter," held in Seoul from October 13, which drew 44 engineers and consultants from 11 Korean systems integration and consulting partners, according to techm.kr. Day one covered designing AI agents and applying them to work with Agentforce and Slack; day two focused on using unstructured data through "Intelligent Context" and on data analysis and KPI building with Tableau Next; day three addressed data security and governance alongside six essential requirements for operating AI agents reliably.

Before taking part, participants must earn certifications including Agentforce Specialist and Data 360 Consultant and complete roughly 80 hours of technical learning and certification exams. Those who pass the evaluation receive the "Agentforce FDE Practitioner" qualification.

After the workshop and certification exams, four Korean partners are to join the Korea Partner FDE network.

Salesforce said the program concretizes in the Korean market the "Agentic Enterprise" strategy it presented at Dreamforce 2026 in September. Park Sejin, CEO of Salesforce Korea, said corporate competitiveness will depend on the ability to embed AI into work processes and turn it into business results.

Global footing

The Partner FDE program has already certified more than 1,000 experts at 140 partner companies across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia-Pacific and Latin America, Salesforce said.
