SensTone Joins Government-Funded Physical AI Security Project
SensTone will handle OT endpoint security and AI-based anomaly detection in a consortium led by RaonSecure, according to ZDNet Korea.
SensTone announced on October 16, 2026, that it has joined a government-funded Physical AI security project as a co-research institute and will develop security technology for the operational technology (OT) segment. The project is run by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) and is titled "Development of Multi-Layer Security Technology Based on Physical AI for Collaborative Intelligence Systems," according to ZDNet Korea.
Within the project, SensTone is responsible for securing the OT endpoint segment, analysing and controlling control commands, and AI-based anomaly detection and response built on its OTAC one-way dynamic token technology.
The consortium is led by RaonSecure and includes Jeonbuk National University and Sogang University. Its goal is to develop multi-layer Physical AI security technology for dark factory environments.
SensTone said it will implement a pre-execution control system that verifies and controls whether a control command is permitted before it reaches actual equipment.
In July 2026, the company's CEO received a ministerial commendation from the Ministry of Science and ICT. In December 2025, a technology based on SensTone's OTAC received a minister's award from the same ministry.
