SiMa.ai has raised a $150 million Series C at a $1.45 billion valuation, the company said. The round was co-led by Fidelity Management & Research Company and Amplify, with participation from Alter Venture Partners, Dell Technologies Capital and StepStone Group.
The San Jose-based company builds chips and software that let robots, drones and cameras run AI on-device. Its chips are designed to be energy-efficient and to avoid sending data to the cloud, which the company says cuts latency.
SiMa.ai was founded in 2018 by Krishna Rangasayee, previously chief operating officer at chipmaker Groq. The company aims to compete with Nvidia's GPUs on latency and affordability.
The new round brings SiMa.ai's total capital raised to more than $500 million. According to PitchBook, the company was valued at $960 million after an $85 million Series B in July 2025.
