Solidigm focuses on enterprise SSDs and was created through the acquisition of Intel's NAND flash and SSD business; it operates fabs in China.
SK hynix is also scheduled to build additional fabs, including an investment in Honam expected to total 400 trillion won. Chairman Chey Tae-won visited the Jeonnam-Gwangju semiconductor specialized complex site on the 9th and said plants in Yongin and Jeonnam-Gwangju may need to be built in parallel.
