SK Telecom demos internal AI training club at Icheon media camp

Attendees at the SKT AX Camp used Anthropic's Claude agent to finish a fictional research task and submit a report in under 10 minutes.

SK Telecom held an “SKT AX Camp” media event at its talent development center in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, on October 30, where it demonstrated an internal AI training program and let attendees try it, according to bloter.net.

The program, the EBB (Early Bird Breakfast) AX Club, has members meet every Wednesday morning after breakfast to work through AI-based job missions and share know-how. SK Telecom launched it in March 2026; it has since run eight sessions with about 220 cumulative participants.

At the camp, the company previewed the club's ninth mission: finding clues about a fictional new deep-sea fish and completing a report within 30 minutes. Attendees used Anthropic's Claude AI agent, which opened the task page, searched the reference materials, filled in the answers and submitted them in under 10 minutes.

A second task asked participants to screen 80 seller teams for the “2026 Seongsu Snack Market” and select 15 of them.

SK Telecom also highlighted the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which connects AI with external work systems such as email and application lists.
