SK Telecom targets December launch for agentic 'Everyone's AI'
SK Telecom is building 'Everyone's AI' into an action-taking agent inside its A. app, while startup Vooy widens integrations via the Open Builders Alliance.
SK Telecom is developing its "Everyone's AI" service into an actionable AI agent and aims for a full launch in December, according to digitaltoday.co.kr. The agent will run through the company's A. app and connect medical, employment and financial services.
In a planned healthcare scenario, users would book a hospital through A. without installing Goodoc and receive directions through Tmap Mobility. An employment scenario would link with consortium member Riner to help draft and refine cover letters and run phone mock interviews with an AI interviewer.
SK Telecom is also working with Shinhan Card and Hana Card to set domestic standards for "agentic pay," and is upgrading an "agent memory" that keeps information from call summaries, messages and schedules so the agent can suggest or carry out tasks the user did not request.
Vooy builds out integrations
Separately, Korean startup Vooy is developing an AI agent that connects external services to handle daily tasks and recently released its own app, having used KakaoTalk and Telegram as customer touchpoints. Vooy aims to expand integrations through the Open Builders Alliance, a developer and company group that includes Hashed and Vooy.
Its planned integrations include restaurant booking and ordering via CatchTable and Yogiyo, product search on Naver Shopping, travel services from MyRealTrip and Naver Flights, and schedule management with Google Calendar.
On October 22, the project lead of SK Telecom's A. business development presented the actionable AI agent direction at "Nitro Track Day," citing Meta's "Muse" and OpenAI's "Dots."
