Sparrow to unveil AI code security assistant at Tokyo event
Sparrow will show Sparrow MCP, an AI-generated code security assistant, for the first time in Japan at Security Days Fall 2026 in Tokyo.
Sparrow announced it will exhibit at Security Days Fall 2026, a three-day security exhibition starting on October 21 at the Takanawa Gateway Convention Center in Tokyo. The company will have its own booth and will show Sparrow MCP, an AI-generated code security assistant, and Sparrow Enterprise, an integrated application security testing solution.
Sparrow MCP makes its first appearance in the Japanese market at this event. It links with AI coding agents such as Codex and Claude Code and analyzes source code and open-source code as soon as it is generated, providing license and vulnerability information.
Sparrow Enterprise analyzes and manages source code, open-source and web vulnerabilities in a single environment. The solution automatically generates SBOMs in formats such as SPDX and CycloneDX and also provides EPSS and KEV information.
Japanese partner VeryServe will speak at the event on vulnerability management measures for European CRA compliance centered on Sparrow products.
"We hope Sparrow MCP will raise security efficiency in the development stage in the Japanese market," CEO Jang Il-su said.
Sparrow has been expanding its local business by supplying products to companies in Japanese industries such as automobiles, chemicals and robotics. In Korea, the company participated in the Naver Cloud consortium and was selected as a final executor of the government's project to develop a cybersecurity-specialized AI foundation model.
