Stretbook Unveils RedAgents.Ai Penetration-Testing Platform

Chinese security firm Stretbook launched RedAgents.Ai on October 16, bundling tools including Artex Pro, and is giving select users access now.

Chinese security company Stretbook unveiled an AI penetration-testing platform called RedAgents.Ai on October 16, according to techm.kr. The platform integrates enterprise products including Artex Pro, and the company says it is currently being provided to some users.

RedAgents.Ai includes AI penetration-testing tools such as Artex Pro, CyberStrikeAI, Yanji and Yanxun. Stretbook said access scope is restricted so that penetration testing is conducted only on customer-authorized systems.

The company also said data collected during testing is stored in its own operating environment, and that a feature to fully delete data is supported.

Artex developer joins Stretbook

Stretbook said the Artex developer now belongs to Stretbook and is leading development of the RedAgents.Ai product.

Artex is a program in which AI analyzes attack targets and runs security tools to find system vulnerabilities. It was created by a Chinese developer as a personal project and released as open source. Since late last month, as intrusion incidents occurred one after another in the financial sector, Artex drew attention in Korea.

On October 7, US security company CrowdStrike said it confirmed Artex configuration files and records of AI tool usage on the server of a hacker who attacked Korean financial institutions. On October 8, the Artex developer made Artex, which had been released as open source, private, citing concern it could be abused for cyberattacks, and said updates and support would also be halted. On September 30, Stretbook acquired CyberStrikeAI.
