Suprema unveils AI patrol robot solution Q-Face Guardian at KPEX 2026
Q-Face Guardian pairs Suprema's Q-Face Finder face-recognition search software with patrol and quadruped robots from Neubility.
Suprema unveiled a patrol robot solution called Q-Face Guardian at the 2026 International Police Equipment Exhibition (KPEX) in Songdo Convensia, Incheon, according to dailysecu.com. The solution combines the company's AI face-recognition search software with robots supplied by an autonomous robot company.
Q-Face Guardian pairs Suprema's Q-Face Finder with patrol robots and quadruped robots from Neubility. Q-Face Finder is designed to identify registered search targets across multiple cameras and moving robots, and to track their 3D movement paths on a GIS-based map.
The system also detects anomalies such as fires or people collapsing during night patrols and sends alerts to a control center. At the exhibition booth, a demonstration shows a patrol robot detecting a pedestrian collapse or a fire and displaying an alert on the Q-Face Finder screen.
Suprema said it aims to expand the solution to smart cities, public facilities and industrial complexes.
Earlier trials and upcoming conference
Suprema previously took part in Anyang city's AI robot demonstration project, verifying autonomous patrol and real-time control integration in a real urban environment. Separately, the 2026 AI Security Conference (AIS 2026) is scheduled for November 3, 2026, at the Korea Science and Technology Center.
