Synology Unveils PAS7700 and GS3400 at Seoul Solution Day 2026

At the event, the company announced the PAS7700 for core business environments and the GS3400, an S3 object storage-based scale-out system for large-scale unstructured data.
Synology said it is expanding ActiveProtect's protection scope to public cloud and various virtualization environments, including Nutanix AHV. The company also said it plans to strengthen cyber resilience with AI-based anomaly detection and automatic rollback features designed to identify and quickly recover backup data.
For enterprise collaboration, Synology presented Synology Office Suite, ChatPlus and Meet, which it said allow organizations to collaborate while maintaining data sovereignty.
Cisco Korea took part in the event and introduced Cisco Duo, a multi-factor authentication solution that can link with Synology NAS. Customer cases were also presented: Asan Medical Center's Medical Imaging AI Research Lab integrated AI research data, multiple NAS devices and distributed authentication systems into a single infrastructure; ADTechnology built a petabyte-scale archiving environment and cut storage cost per terabyte by about 50%; and Daedong AI Lab integrated large-scale video and image data generated in AI training for autonomous driving tractors and built data protection and recovery systems between Daegu and Seoul.
