Toss Securities Reappoints CEO Kim Gyu-bin for Second Term
Toss Securities' board reappointed Kim Gyu-bin as CEO, with his new two-year term running until October 2028 and a compliance declaration ceremony set for the 15th.
Toss Securities held a board meeting and reappointed Kim Gyu-bin as an internal director and CEO, according to digitaltoday.co.kr. His new term runs for two years until October 2028, and he will continue as chairman of the board.
It is the first time a Toss Securities CEO has succeeded in being reappointed to a second term. The company said it plans to hold an ethics and compliance management declaration ceremony on the 15th with executives and employees. It will also operate an internal control task force and expand internal control training for employees.
Leadership background
On August 31, Toss Securities' executive candidate recommendation committee recommended Kim Gyu-bin as CEO candidate. He was appointed CEO of Toss Securities in October 2024 after serving as head of product.
Kim Gyu-bin, born in 1989, graduated from Carnegie Mellon University's department of electrical and computer engineering. In 2012, he founded the mobile gift service Nanojo, and later worked at eBay Korea and Viva Republica as a product owner.
