TP-Link Showcases Omada and VIGI Site Security at Construction Expo

The company presented long-range wireless bridges, 4G routers and VIGI cameras, including a license plate recognition model, for sites without fiber or power.

TP-Link presented an integrated offering combining its Omada network solution with its VIGI video security solution for construction site infrastructure at the 2026 Korea Construction & Safety Expo, according to datanet.co.kr.

At its booth, the company showed Omada long-range outdoor wireless bridges designed to link buildings or wide outdoor work areas where laying fiber cabling is difficult. TP-Link also exhibited outdoor 4G routers and industrial switches for sites that lack a fixed internet line.

On the video security side, the VIGI InSight PTZ5425 was presented as a PTZ camera that distinguishes people from vehicles and performs auto-tracking and alerts. The VIGI InSight LPR345Z license plate recognition camera was displayed alongside other outdoor CCTV products.

TP-Link also showed a solar-powered video security setup for sites without power infrastructure, and demonstrated central management through Omada Central and NVR-based real-time video monitoring.
