TVING posts 120.5 billion won revenue, 7.2 billion won Q3 loss

CJ ENM said subscriber growth and higher ad sales lifted TVING's revenue despite fewer KBO games and gaps in its originals lineup.

TVING recorded 120.5 billion won in revenue and a 7.2 billion won operating loss in the third quarter of 2026, CJ ENM said on its quarterly earnings call on November 5, 2026, according to techm.kr.

CJ ENM said the streamer's revenue grew despite a lighter slate of KBO games and gaps in its original content lineup, helped by subscriber growth and higher advertising sales.

CJ ENM Chief Financial Officer Lee Jong-hwa said the third-quarter deficit follows a second quarter that included a large one-off recognition of overseas content sales. Those sales were booked in that quarter and temporarily lifted profit.

The company also said it expects to complete the KBO broadcast rights contract within the year, citing procedural delays.

Overseas expansion

TVING has pushed into overseas markets through HBO Max in 18 Asia-Pacific regions and Disney+ in Japan. In August 2026 it launched a branded channel on MBC Shahid, which serves 24 markets across the Middle East and North Africa.
