Ultrahuman, Abu Dhabi Public Health Center Sign 2-Year Biological-Age Deal
The wearable-agnostic model will combine clinical biomarkers with device data, with results eventually delivered through UAE platforms TAMM and Sahatna.
Ultrahuman said on October 12, 2026, that it has signed a two-year memorandum of understanding with the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center to develop and validate a biological-age model. The model will combine clinical biomarkers with data collected from wearable devices, according to TechCrunch.
The company said the model is designed to be wearable-agnostic, meaning it can accept data from rings, wrist-worn devices, straps and patches rather than a single product line. The intention is for the model to eventually be made available to people across the United Arab Emirates.
Under the plan, individuals will eventually be able to view their health age through government digital-health platforms including TAMM and Sahatna. No timeline for public availability and no pricing were given.
Background
Ultrahuman is a Bengaluru-based health tech startup best known for its smart rings and has sold around 800,000 of them globally so far. The UAE is among its 10 largest markets, accounting for roughly 4% to 5% of overall revenue, and the company has operated there for nearly five years. In May 2025, the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi announced a partnership with Oura, a competitor to Ultrahuman, to combine wearable data with the emirate's longitudinal health data.
