X Expands Gametime Sports Hub With Major League Baseball Partnership
The MLB experience launches this month, with an NBA addition promised later, as X said at Advertising Week New York that Gametime will become a year-round destination.
X announced at Advertising Week New York that its Gametime sports hub is expanding beyond the NFL, starting with a Major League Baseball partnership that arrives this month. The company said Gametime will grow into a year-round destination covering all professional sports.
The MLB experience on Gametime will let fans follow postseason discussions and organize scores, stats, team and league content, news, creator content and real-time discussions, according to X.
X described the MLB deal as its second league partnership for Gametime and said content from other leagues, including the NBA, will be added soon.
From NFL hub to year-round product
Gametime was first announced in August as a single hub for tracking live scores, play-by-play updates and game feeds, focused on the NFL.
The expansion adds a second league to that product. TechCrunch reported on the Advertising Week announcement.
