XCENA Appoints Steve Fingerhut as Chief Business Officer

Fingerhut will lead global commercialization of XCENA's MX1, a CXL-based compute memory solution aimed at AI infrastructure.

XCENA announced on October 14, 2026, that it has appointed Steve Fingerhut as its Chief Business Officer, according to datanet.co.kr.

In the role, Fingerhut will oversee XCENA's global business, including sales, business development, product planning and management, strategic partnerships, marketing and go-to-market strategy. He will also lead the commercialization of MX1, the company's CXL-based compute memory solution.

XCENA plans to apply MX1 to the AI infrastructure of hyperscalers, cloud service providers and enterprise customers. CEO Kim Jin-young said the company will apply its developed and verified technology to customers' actual operating environments and expand its business.

Fingerhut most recently led data center technology collaboration with Meta at Qualcomm. He said XCENA's memory-centric computing technology computes close to where data is stored, which he sees as highly promising.
