LG Innotek CEO Moon Hyuk-soo Likely to Stay in LG Group Year-End Reshuffle
LG Group is reportedly set to retain LG Innotek CEO Moon Hyuk-soo, with focus on whether an executive vice president will be promoted.
LG Group's year-end executive reshuffle is expected to retain Moon Hyuk-soo as CEO of LG Innotek, according to a report by bloter.net. The company currently has no executive vice president rank among its full-time executives, raising attention on whether one will be promoted in this reshuffle.
Noh Seung-won heads the optical solutions business and Cho Ji-tae heads the package solutions business, both at executive director level. In the second quarter, LG Innotek's optical solutions business posted 4.5179 trillion won in revenue, up 48% year-on-year.
Moon Hyuk-soo became CEO at the executive vice president level in late 2023 and was promoted to president in late 2024. In March 2025, LG Innotek said it was mass-producing and supplying FC-BGA to two global big tech customers and planned to supply a third from this year. In 2025, the company began mass production of sensing components for robots, generating hundreds of billions of won in revenue.
Last year, FC-BGA revenue was around 50 billion won out of 1.72 trillion won in total package solutions revenue. The package solutions business posted 128.9 billion won in operating profit last year, up 82% from the previous year. In the second quarter of 2025, the package solutions business posted 49.84 billion won in revenue, up 20% year-on-year. In June 2025, Cho Ji-tae announced a mid-to-long-term strategy targeting over 3 trillion won in revenue by 2030 and 1 trillion won in operating profit by 2031.
