DANKATSU Anime Reveals Teaser Trailer, 4 New Cast Members
The adaptation of the dungeon-themed light novel series is set to begin broadcasting in Japan in January 2027.
The anime adaptation of Game Sekai Tensei "DANKATSU": Gamer wa "Dungeon Shuukatsu no Susume" wo "Hajime kara" Play Suru has a new teaser trailer, Crunchyroll reported. The series is scheduled to broadcast in Japan beginning in January 2027.
Alongside the trailer, four additional cast members were revealed. Ayaka Nanase voices Hanna, Kotone Izumi plays Sierra, Hikaru Iida is Lana, and Chihaya Asakura voices Ester.
Nagisa Miyzaki directs the anime at STUDIO MASSKET, with Yuji Kobayashi handling series composition and scripts.
From web novel to print
Kaede Nishikigi began publishing the original light novels on the Kakuyomu website in January 2021. TO Books releases a print edition with illustrations by Shuri under the TO Bunko imprint, and 16 volumes have been published to date.
A manga adaptation drawn by Hiroshi Asagi is also published by TO Books, with 5 volumes out so far.
