Creative Assembly has confirmed that Alien: Isolation 2 will receive a physical release. Art director Ana Sopikova announced the news in a developer update posted on the game's official Twitter account, according to gamerant.com.
The confirmation came from a longer developer Q&A video published on the official Alien: Isolation 2 YouTube channel. In it, Creative Assembly said that staying true to the analogue nature of Alien is one of its core pillars, and that the sequel will have a physical edition.

The game was officially announced in June 2026. The first Alien: Isolation, developed by Creative Assembly and published by Sega, launched in 2014 both physically and digitally.
