Blizzard sells Kul Tiran housing packs for World of Warcraft
The Grimtide Decor Pack costs 1,000 Hearthsteel and the Haunted Grimtide Estate 2,500; buying both works out to $35.
Blizzard released two Kul Tiran-themed housing item packs for World of Warcraft on October 26, 2026, and both are now on sale in the game's microtransaction store. The Grimtide Decor Pack is priced at 1,000 Hearthsteel, while the Haunted Grimtide Estate costs 2,500 Hearthsteel, according to gamerant.com.
At the listed rate of 100 Hearthsteel per $1, buying both packs comes to $35. The items draw on piracy and Lovecraftian motifs and are built around the Kul Tiran race.
The release drew public criticism from World of Warcraft content creator Michael "Bellular" Bell, who spoke out against the Kul Tiran housing items.
Earlier commitment
Blizzard had previously stated that any World of Warcraft player housing items sold for real money would not be tied to player character races or fantasies. The Kul Tiran race itself was first introduced in the Battle for Azeroth expansion.
