Wickworks to bring Bore to the Core to Steam
The game mixes mobile base defense with factory automation and follows mole rats digging toward the world's core.
Wickworks announced that Bore to the Core, its game combining mobile base defense with factory automation, will be released on Steam, according to gamemeca.com.
The game follows mole rats digging toward the world's core. Players ride a giant tunnel borer, explore a hazardous underground world and defend the moving base from gas, environmental hazards and monsters.
Bore to the Core is built around physics-based automation used to construct the base. Players automate fuel and item production for the borer, smelt ore into precious metals and hunt for rare gems and treasures along the way.
The title spans eight biomes, among them Vapor Veins, Noisy Nests, Bedrock Belt and Hells Haze.
