Chaos★Smash browser shooter launches full service on October 29

The free-to-play turn-based shooter runs in Chrome or Edge with no download, and adds log-in and gacha campaigns at launch.

Moon Rabbit launched the full service of its browser game Chaos★Smash on October 29, the company announced. The free-to-play turn-based shooter runs in a browser such as Chrome or Edge, with no high-spec PC or data download required.

Matches are decided by shot placement: players adjust firing angle and power, account for wind direction and can destroy terrain to change the outcome of a battle. Automaton Media reported the launch.

A beginner support campaign is running to mark the start of service, offering in-game currency and enhancement items to players who log in over seven days. The campaign page is accessible for 14 days after a character is created.

A daily free 10-pull campaign is also under way until 14:59 on November 12, giving players 10 gacha orbs for each day they log in. From November 12, a first crossover event with yuru-chara mascots is scheduled, with the mascots appearing as linked characters and limited avatars planned for distribution.

The level cap at release is Lv39. The first cap increase is scheduled for around mid-December and will raise it to Lv49, while reaching Lv40 unlocks the vehicle feature and auto-battle in some modes.
