Cyberpunk 2077 Update Adds Witcher 3 Gear and Dual-Wield Pistols

CD Projekt Red's new patch brings a sword, a knife and Geralt's Ursine armor pieces to Night City, plus dual-wield pistols for the first time since 2020.

CD Projekt Red has released a new Cyberpunk 2077 update that adds items inspired by The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, according to Collider. The patch introduces a sword, a knife, spectacles, and a jacket and pants modelled on Geralt of Rivia's Ursine Witcher armor.

The update also lets players dual wield pistols, a first for Cyberpunk 2077 since the game launched in 2020.

The Witcher 3 crossover gear follows earlier cosmetic links between the two CD Projekt Red titles. In the past, the studio added Cyberpunk-inspired cosmetics for Geralt, including a hairstyle and bandanna, for players who owned both games.

Studio's other projects

CD Projekt Red has confirmed that hundreds of employees are working on a Cyberpunk sequel, though no release date has been given. Most of the studio is working on the next Witcher game, which is tentatively expected in 2028.

The Witcher 3 also received a remastered version that adds mod support for next-gen consoles and performance enhancements.
