Fan Project Brings Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit to PC
Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit Recompiled runs the Xbox 360 fighting game natively on Windows with 4K support and up to 144 FPS.
A fan project called Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit Recompiled has released an unofficial PC version of Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit on GitHub, making the Xbox 360 fighting game playable natively on modern Windows systems.
The project converts the Xbox 360 version into a native Windows x64 application. It supports resolutions up to 4K and frame rates of 30, 60, 120, and 144 FPS, with an option to remove the frame rate cap entirely.
On the graphics side, the fan version includes support for FSR, DLSS, and DLAA, alongside settings for anti-aliasing, texture filtering, sharpening, depth of field, glow blur, and motion blur.
The release also adds an online lobby system with adjustable input delay, and makes previously restricted costumes and stages available in additional modes. The game can run on Linux and Steam Deck through Wine or Proton.
Players need a legally obtained US NTSC-U Xbox 360 copy of Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit; the PAL and Japanese releases are not currently supported. The project was covered by gamerant.com.
