Elder Scrolls: Betrayal of the Second Era Valenwood expansion returns for preorder

Chip Theory Games' Valenwood expansion is listed again at Zatu Games for about $43 and launches later in November 2026.

The Valenwood expansion for The Elder Scrolls: Betrayal of the Second Era is available for preorder again through Zatu Games at about $43, ahead of its launch later in November 2026, according to Screen Rant.

The expansion adds a new Valenwood map, along with quests, encounters, enemies and equipment. Its storyline covers the disappearance of Falinesti, independent Wood Orc tribes and the growing influence of Deslandra.

Players also get three new classes — the Arcanist, Burglar and Ranger — plus the Illusion, Legerdemain and Light Armor skill lines.

Five expansions in the latest wave

Chip Theory Games has five major expansions in its latest wave, with fulfillment expected to begin in November 2026. Alongside Valenwood, the wave includes Summerset, which brings the Mage and Assassin classes, and Elsweyr, which adds Thieves, Berserkers and a pursuing dragon. Heroes of Tamriel and Fur and Fang complete the lineup, with Shadows of Oblivion also part of the wave.

Valenwood first debuted alongside the base game in 2025. Separately, Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls 6 back in 2018, and a report has claimed the sequel will be titled The Elder Scrolls 6: Sentinel, a name the studio has not confirmed.
