Grifford Academy leaves early access with Story Creator tools
The turn-based fantasy RPG's 1.0 launch adds a story-scripting tool, player voice recording and cats as pets, with English the only language for now.
Grifford Academy has left early access and been officially released, adding a Story Creator tool that lets players write their own story scripts and play them out in the game world, according to 4gamer.net.
The full release also includes a Voice Studio feature that lets players voice in-game characters and villains themselves, and it introduces cats as a new pet.
The turn-based fantasy RPG is currently available in English only. Its Steam store page states that the game does not support Japanese at release, and that translation will prioritise the most wishlisted languages.
A 10% launch discount is running on Steam.
Early access period
Grifford Academy first entered early access in June 2025, and the game is set in the fantasy world of Caldria, with Erika, Viva, Cap and Jinnie among its playable characters.
