GTA 6 Report Details Sweat System and Scrapped Two-Continent Map

A Bloomberg report says GTA 6 characters sweat based on effort, and that the map once spanned North and South America.

Bloomberg's Jason Schreier published an extended report on Grand Theft Auto 6's development on October 14, 2026, covering both the game's current features and its earlier plans, according to gamesradar.com.

In a YouTube video published alongside the report, Schreier said GTA 6 includes a dedicated system for perspiration: Lucia, Jason, or whichever character the player controls will sweat different amounts depending on how much effort they are exerting. Characters dancing hard in a nightclub, for example, will sweat more than those who are not.

The report also states that the game was once intended to feature an open world spread across North and South America, before the scale was reined in. Rockstar Games is developing the title.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has previously had to address a string of delays to GTA 6, which have pushed the game back repeatedly.
