Helldivers 2 Liberty Day 2026 Brings Ship Decorations and AR-23L Rifle

Arrowhead Studios has launched Helldivers 2's third annual Liberty Day celebration, bringing in-game gifts, Super Destroyer decorations, community minigames and a Super Merch promotion to active players. The event centres on October 26, when the celebrations take place.

For 24 hours on October 26, Super Destroyer ships will display banners, rugs, party supplies and other decorations. At the conclusion of the Liberty Day celebrations, players will receive the AR-23L Liberator Legacy rifle as an in-game gift.

Several community minigames are returning for Liberty Day, including Minidivers, Adopt-a-SEAF, Oath of Enlistment and Raise the Flag. Minidivers, Oath of Enlistment and Raise the Flag are only available to members of the official Discord server.

Arrowhead has also released a Liberty Day Party Pack containing games, decorations, recipes and printable Helldiver helmets. In addition, completing select in-game achievements before February 28, 2027 unlocks items for purchase on the Helldivers 2 Super Merch store. Reaching Level 100 and earning the Hell Commander title unlocks the Hell Commander Pin.

Liberty Day is the Helldivers 2 in-universe celebration and is now in its third year. In previous celebrations, Arrowhead marked the occasion with in-game gifts and ship lobby decorations.
