Mobile Billboard Urges EA to Save Mass Effect at Redwood City HQ

The We Are Mass Effect campaign's truck circled EA's Redwood City headquarters on November 6, 2026, with billboards planned for December's Game Awards.

A mobile billboard truck calling on EA to save Mass Effect drove around the company's Redwood City headquarters on November 6, 2026, according to Kotaku. The truck was scheduled to circle the property for four hours, until 1 p.m. Pacific Time.

The truck was organized by We Are Mass Effect organizers Ariel Aguilar and Mer together with content creator Kala Elizabeth. Organizers asked people nearby to send photos of the truck and warned supporters against entering EA property.

The billboard is the latest step in a crowdfunded campaign that has already paid for a billboard in Times Square, and organizers plan further billboards at December's Game Awards.

Background

BioWare was shut down on October 21, 2026. Before the closure, the studio had several licensing deals in place for new merchandise and likely would have teased the now-cancelled Mass Effect: Universe. Earlier this week, Canadian fans signed an e-petition asking the House of Commons to explore funding BioWare developers so they could buy the studio and its IP from EA. N7 Day, once BioWare's annual Mass Effect celebration, falls on November 7, 2026.
