Pokemon TCG unveils Mega Rayquaza ex Premium Tournament Collection

The Pokemon Company revealed the Mega Rayquaza ex Premium Tournament Collection for the Pokemon TCG on October 29, 2026, according to gamerant.com. The product is scheduled to release on February 12, 2027.

The collection is built around one foil promo card featuring Mega Rayquaza ex. It also includes three foil promo cards featuring Zinnia's Trust, Adventure Lantern and the Mega Rayquaza Cap, plus two cards that combine into a single Legendary Summit Stadium card.

Accessories in the box come from Dragon Shield: 65 card sleeves and a deck box. The collection additionally contains eight Pokemon TCG booster packs and a code card for Pokemon TCG Live.

The announcement follows a busy stretch for the game. In 2026 the Pokemon TCG opened the year with the Ascended Heroes set, which set a record as the largest Pokemon set of all time, while sets such as Chaos Rising and Pitch Black also debuted that year.

Mega Rayquaza ex in the wider lineup

Mega Rayquaza ex has already become a mainstay of the competitive game in Japan, typically appearing in Mega Kangaskhan ex decks. The main set of Delta Reign features only Double Rare and Special Illustration Rare versions of the card.

The first 2027 expansion, Flowing Fists, headlined by Mega Lucario Z ex, has already been revealed. Before then, the Day & Night Ultra-Premium Collection featuring Espeon and Umbreon artwork arrives on November 6.
