Roblox: Over 70,000 Games Published With AI Tool Build

Roblox says more than 500,000 users have tried the prompt-to-game tool in its alpha, and that AI-made titles broke into its top 20 by concurrent players.

Roblox has reported that users have published more than 70,000 games using Build, its AI prompt-to-game creation tool, since it launched in alpha in July 2026. The figure appeared in the company's Q3 2026 shareholder letter, according to pcgamer.com.

More than 500,000 users have used Build during the alpha, which is available in New Zealand, Singapore, Serbia and Thailand, according to the letter. Roblox also said that over 80% of its top 100 games by hours engaged used AI tools in the past month.

Usage is rising among the platform's biggest creators as well. Roblox said daily asset uploads to its Cloud tripled month-over-month, and that time spent in AI tools among top creators tripled compared with Q2.

Two titles made almost entirely with AI, Break and Steal an Egg and Huss Valley, entered Roblox's top 20 by concurrent players during the quarter. The company described its goal as capturing 10% of the global gaming market and a larger share in the US.

Beyond the platform

Roblox pointed to Roblox Everywhere, revealed in September 2026, and a new Universal Player initiative as ways to extend its games beyond the platform. In December 2023 the company had released Roblox Studio Assistant, an earlier AI development tool.
