New OD teaser image shows Sophia Lillis and a floating red object
The image, tagged "For all players and screamers", went on display at Kojima Productions' 10th anniversary exhibition in Tokyo, according to Polygon.
A new teaser image for OD, the game from Kojima Productions, has appeared at the studio's 10th anniversary exhibition in Tokyo. The image shows the character played by Sophia Lillis looking at a red object floating in the air, which may be a broom, according to Polygon.
The image carries the tagline "For all players and screamers". The exhibition runs through December 20 at Azabudai Hills Gallery in Tokyo.
Fans have speculated that the levitating red object points to witches, partly because its red matches the colour of Hunter Schafer's costume in an earlier image. They are also debating whether the new picture is an in-game render or a live-action photograph.
Earlier OD material
OD was first announced more than four years before this article. A teaser trailer followed in 2025, showing redacted text about curses and Lillis' character lighting candles in an apartment, and a separate OD: Knock teaser video showed a red door. Images from the anniversary exhibition, including the red door and cards with dares written on them, were leaked on Reddit.
Hideo Kojima, the game's director, said on a podcast that he wants to keep quiet and release the game in order to preserve its mystery. Filmmaker Jordan Peele contributed to OD.
