Phasmophobia players raise more than $230,000 for heart charity
Kinetic Games said the Ghost Hunts for Hearts drive drew more than 500 streamers, its largest Heart Liive creator fundraiser to date.
Kinetic Games announced on 6th November that the Phasmophobia community raised more than $230,000 (around £173,000) for the American Heart Association during this year's Ghost Hunts for Hearts event. The charity drive ran from 26th October to 2nd November.
More than 500 streamers signed up to take part, the biggest turnout yet for a Heart Liive creator fundraiser, according to Eurogamer. Streamers who fundraised could give viewers an event-exclusive Advocate ID Card and Badge as a Twitch Drop.
Kinetic set a target of $200,000. Once players surpassed it, an animated Advocate ID Card and Badge set unlocked for everyone.
Players can log in to Phasmophobia before 15th November to claim the Animated AHA Advocate ID Card and badge.
