NCSOFT unveiled the Chapter 1 second story, 'Light and Veil's Boundary', and the winter update roadmap for Aion 2 at the game's 1st anniversary event, held at the aT Center in Yangjae, Seoul on November 8, according to inven.co.kr.
The first update arrives on November 11, 2026, raising the maximum level from 50 to 55. It also adds a new Daevanion board with 128 Daevanion points, expands equipment breakthrough to 7 tiers, and gives every expedition dungeon a solo mode. Manual control efficiency improvements target roughly 20 percent, and the previously announced attribute damage amplification system will not be added.
Housing and the rest of the chapter
Housing also opens on November 11, offering a personal island territory that is permanently owned for 1 million kina. At launch it includes 286 decoration types and 3 terrain types, and up to 40 people can be invited to the territory.
The new Arcana system 'Origin of the Main God' is part of the update, while the 'Temple of Fire' trial expands from 16 to 24 tiers.
NCSOFT scheduled the Rudra Challenge for December 2, the second half of the chapter for December 23, and a new sanctuary, 'Fortress of Ascension Erekh', for January 20 next year.
