God of War Ragnarok tops PS5-era PlayStation Studios revenue ranking at $1.4bn

Alinea Analytics has published its estimates of the 10 highest-grossing PlayStation Studios games of the PS5 generation, with God of War Ragnarok leading at an estimated $1.4 billion in gross revenue, IGN reported on November 6, 2026.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is second at $1.3 billion, followed by Gran Turismo 7 at $841.9 million, Helldivers 2 at $786.3 million and Horizon Forbidden West at $485.8 million.

Ghost of Yōtei sits sixth at $410.1 million, ahead of The Last of Us Part 1 at $341.3 million, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart at $334.9 million, Stellar Blade at $316.9 million and Astro Bot at $292.6 million.

Across the 10 titles, Alinea puts combined revenue at more than $6.5 billion, split across PlayStation (84.7%), Steam (14.1%) and Xbox (1.2%). The firm estimates God of War Ragnarok's figure comes from 21.6 million copies sold across PS5, PS4 and PC, and that Ghost of Yōtei has sold 5.5 million copies as a PS5 exclusive.

Alinea also estimates that 59.7% of Stellar Blade's revenue came from PS5 and 40.3% from Steam, while Astro Bot's revenue came from about 4.7 million copies sold on PS5.

Older context

In January 2025, God of War Ragnarok became available to PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers, and Alinea estimates 6.7 million PlayStation Plus users have accessed it through the service. The firm also estimates the game sold 1.1 million copies in 2026 alone.
