Buyers of the $80 edition can move up to the $100 Ultimate Edition, including physical code-in-a-box copies, GameSpot reports.

Rockstar will offer a $20 Ultimate Edition Upgrade for Grand Theft Auto 6, letting players who buy the $80 edition move up to the $100 Ultimate Edition, according to GameSpot. The upgrade covers both the digital edition bought from the Xbox and PlayStation stores and the physical code-in-a-box edition.

Grand Theft Auto 6 launches on November 19, and preloading begins November 10. The game weighs 212GB.

What the Ultimate Edition adds

The $100 Ultimate Edition is not sold in stores, according to the earlier details of the release. It includes vehicles, weapons and clothing threaded across Jason and Lucia's story, with new items behind each chapter.

The Ultimate Edition also gives access to in-game businesses, among them a hair salon, a tattoo parlor and a mod shop; Sara's Unisex Hair Salon is exclusive to that edition.

All preorders for Grand Theft Auto 6 include The Vintage Vice City Pack and one month of GTA+, as announced in October 2025.
