Queen's Domain Launches October 30 With 95% Steam Rating
Freshly Baked Games and Future Friends Games released the dark fantasy RPG on Steam, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2.
Queen's Domain, the dark fantasy RPG from developer Freshly Baked Games and publisher Future Friends Games, launched on October 30, 2026 across Steam, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. The game currently holds a 95% "Overwhelmingly Positive" user review rating on Steam, according to Game Rant.
Players explore the Isle of Neasied wielding the Legendary Holy Sword Endu in search of their father. The game is built around an interconnected world with a stamina meter and charged attacks, and it offers more than 50 melee weapons to collect and use.
Queen's Domain includes over 100 enemies, mini bosses and bosses, giving the RPG a substantial roster of encounters across its world.
Older dungeon crawlers in the same lane
The release follows a run of smaller dark fantasy titles that found audiences on Steam. In October 2023, Lunacid released and reached a 90% "Very Positive" review score on the platform. Labyrinth of the Demon King arrived in May 2025 with a 92% "Very Positive" score, and Verho - Curse of Faces followed in November 2025 at 91% "Very Positive".
On the larger end of the genre, The Elder Scrolls 6 has not yet had its formal unveiling. Meanwhile, earlier first-person dungeon crawlers such as King's Field and FromSoftware's Dark Souls remain reference points in the dark fantasy space.
