Mega Crit's Casey Yano Calls Bash the 'Perfect Card' in Slay the Spire 2

In a Spire newsletter Q&A, the Mega Crit co-founder said Ironclad's starter card was nailed on the first try.

Mega Crit co-founder Casey Yano named Ironclad's starter card Bash the "perfect card" in Slay the Spire 2 during a Q&A published in the Spire newsletter, according to gamesradar.com. The answer came in response to a player named Jeremy, who asked whether the team feels it nailed any one card the first time around.

Bash costs two energy, deals eight damage and applies two Vulnerable. When upgraded, it deals 10 damage and applies three Vulnerable. The card is Ironclad's only basic card in the game.

An Ancient-exclusive upgrade for Bash called Break costs one energy and deals 20 damage with five Vulnerable, or 30 damage and seven Vulnerable when upgraded. Yano's comment points to Bash as a card the team considers settled in its current form.

Slay the Spire 2 is developed by Mega Crit and was released before this article; the writer of this piece has played over 250 hours this year.
