Slay the Spire 2 Major Beta Patch Set for November 13, 2026
Mega Crit Games says the beta branch gets experimental content first, while the main branch receives the current v0.111.0 build.
Mega Crit Games has announced that the next major beta patch for Slay the Spire 2 will be released on November 13, 2026, according to gamespark.jp. The studio outlined the schedule in its October 2026 newsletter.
New experimental content will arrive on the beta branch first, where the team can find bugs and adjust balance before it moves wider. The main branch will receive the content of the current beta version, v0.111.0, along with balance adjustments and bug fixes.
The specifics of the major patch are being kept secret until release. Mega Crit Games also said a new game mode in development will support both single-player and multiplayer, and that it plans to add new acts and more long-term cooperative play features.
Custom mode will be revisited as the version 1.0 release approaches, and the team plans a beta art viewing feature for cards and chronicles.
Work since August
Since August 2026, the development team has been working on major content apart from a one-week studio-wide holiday. Slay the Spire 2 is currently available in early access on PC via Steam.
