Waltz and Jam PS5 demo arrives alongside Steam Halloween playtest
The PS5 demo covers the tutorial area Cradle through mid-Chapter 1, as a Steam playtest runs until November 11 with 1,000 keys on offer.
A PlayStation 5 demo for Waltz and Jam is now available on the PlayStation Store, Flyway Games' parent company KRAFTON announced, launching alongside a Halloween-limited playtest on Steam that runs until November 11, according to 4gamer.net.
The PS5 demo covers the tutorial area "Cradle" through the middle of Chapter 1, "Fogo Forest". It carries the same content as the Steam demo released earlier, supports 4K resolution and can be played in 11 languages including Japanese.
Steam playtest runs to November 11
The Steam playtest, which began on October 29, 2026, lets players continue past the demo to the boss fight of Chapter 2, "Shadow Castle", and into the early part of Chapter 3, "Sea Desert". To join, players must complete 3 of 6 missions on the Gleam.io campaign site; game keys go to the first 1,000 people who qualify.
Five playtest participants will also be entered into a lottery for a 50 USD Steam gift card. A roughly one-minute Halloween event trailer showing Chapter 2 "Shadow Castle" gameplay has been released as well.
Waltz and Jam is developed by Flyway Games, a studio under KRAFTON, and is set in an afterlife world themed on the seven deadly sins.
