Owlcat Games' action RPG continues The Expanse TV series with an original story, putting players in command of a Pinkwater Security frigate.
The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, an action RPG from Owlcat Games set in The Expanse universe, will launch in 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, according to screenrant.com. The studio has not announced a narrower release date than the 2027 window.
The game picks up where the television series left off while telling an original story drawn from the novel series by James S. A. Corey. Players take command of a customizable commander in the Pinkwater Security mercenary squad and manage a space frigate.
At the start, players choose an Earther, Martian or Belter background for their commander. The game features dynamic third-person combat and locations including Ganymede, Ceres, Mars and Luna, with the story beginning at the asteroid Eros.

The Expanse aired from 2015 to 2022, adapted from the novels by James S. A. Corey. Syfy cancelled the show after three seasons, and Amazon later picked it up for three more seasons.
