Wardogs led Newzoo's September 2026 PC revenue chart across the US, UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy, finishing ahead of Fortnite and EA Sports FC 27, according to GamesIndustry.biz. The first-person shooter from Bulkhead also placed No.11 on the monthly active user chart, with both rankings recorded within its first three weeks.
On console, EA Sports FC 27 and NBA 2K27 held the top two positions for revenue in September. Marvel's Wolverine ranked fourth on the console revenue chart after leading US September sales, while Wardogs entered Newzoo's Top 20 year-to-date games spend chart at No.15 and Marvel's Wolverine at No.16.
Two other titles made notable moves up the PC revenue rankings. Bodycam climbed 20 places to No.6 following a major update and a discount, and DressMaker surged 4,698 places to No.20 after its full game launch on September 21. DressMaker was first released on itch.io in 2025.
Remedy's Control Resonant, the studio's first self-published title, debuted at No.18 in the Top 20 PC revenue chart and one spot higher on console. It surpassed one million units in its launch month, making it Remedy's fastest-selling game. Halloween: The Game and The Blood of Dawnwalker both reached the Top 10 for revenue on the PC and console charts.
Newzoo market analyst Mert Şahin said the September rankings show a market releasing many of its biggest titles before GTA 6 arrives.
