Wardogs Season 3 Adds Limited Mode, Starts Nov. 12

Bulkhead and Team17 detailed the new mode, multi-track unlocks and anti-cheat changes before the season begins on November 12.

Bulkhead and Team17 have revealed the first details of Wardogs Season 3, which begins on Nov. 12. The announcement came in a Road to Season 3 video, as reported by polygon.com.

The headline addition is Limited Mode, a set of servers that restricts weapons, ammo types and vehicles and limits players to tier-2 armor. Cash and XP earned in Limited Mode carry over and can be spent in the standard game mode.

Season 3 also introduces multi-track unlocks, so some items are no longer tied to a specific progression track. The update will include improvements to the game's anti-cheat systems as well.

Season length is changing too: Wardogs seasons will now run for three months, per the announcement. Patch notes for Season 3 have not been released and are expected closer to launch.

Wardogs has been in early access on Windows PC, with progression being brought back closer to Season 1 after feedback on Season 2. A major meta-game progression overhaul and a 1.0 Windows PC launch are planned for 2027, with console versions set for 2028.
