Where Winds Meet Hutuo Update Lands November 13

The first global anniversary update adds the war-torn Hutuo region, board game modes, and PlayStation 5 Pro visual upgrades.

Where Winds Meet will launch the Hutuo region on November 13 alongside its first global anniversary update, the developer announced on the PlayStation Blog. The region is described as a new war-torn frontier built around environmental storytelling and quests, with its story arc centred on the battle of Zhongdu Bridge.

PlayStation 5 players get a set of technical upgrades in the same update: enhanced PSSR, upgraded ray-traced reflections, DualSense adaptive triggers and haptics, and optimised asynchronous asset streaming. The PlayStation 5 Pro is among the listed platforms for these enhancements.

The anniversary update also adds board game modes, including Horse Racing Chess and Jianghu Tactics.

Dual Spears arrive in late November

In August 2026, Where Winds Meet welcomed more than 100 million players worldwide and won Best Mobile Game at Gamescom.
