Nintendo has confirmed two special midnight launch events for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, to be held in San Francisco and New York City on Wednesday, November 4. The game releases on November 5.
The San Francisco event runs from 9 PM to 11 PM, while the New York City event runs from 12 AM to 2 AM. Those wishing to attend must register for a Warp Pipe Pass to secure a spot, and each attendee is limited to one copy of the game.
Both events will also sell the Zelda 40th Anniversary Pro Controller + Stand and Carrying Case, along with the special edition Zelda Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo confirmed that attendees who queue up and buy the game will receive a mystery free gift.
No official events are planned outside the continental United States. GameRant first reported the events.
The special edition Zelda Nintendo Switch 2 has been unavailable online for some time. Nintendo had already shown a substantial amount of the remake before this announcement, and Ocarina of Time is widely regarded as one of the best games in the series.
