Amazon MGM Studios is developing a feature adaptation of Freddie the Fix, the comic series created by Garth Ennis, with Lawrence Lamont attached to direct, Deadline reports.
Kalen Egan and Travis Sentell are writing the screenplay. Kimberly Steward and Alex Foster will produce for K Period Media, alongside Kenya Barris for Khalabo Ink Society.
Ennis, Jeremy Allen, Lamont, Adam Glass, Michael Bogner, and David Stone will serve as executive producers.
The film will follow Freddie, a fixer to Hollywood's supernatural elite.
Background
Freddie the Fix was launched by Ninth Circle in December 2024, illustrated by Mike Perkins, and the comic series sold out. Ninth Circle was founded by Ennis, Ram V, Marguerite Bennett, Joe Pruett, and Glass, with Steward as lead investor.
Lamont most recently directed the Sony Pictures comedy One of Them Days. Egan and Sentell's recent credits include Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams and The Lunar Chronicles, set for release in 2028.
