Anson Boon Says Eddie Could Be MobLand's Mole

The actor discussed Episode 8 of Season 2, in which Conrad tells Eddie the truth about the Harrigan name and Maeve confronts him in a sauna.

Anson Boon has said his character Eddie could emerge as the mole inside the Harrigan circle in the closing episodes of MobLand Season 2, in an interview about the season's eighth episode, titled "We Don't Talk Anymore." Two episodes remain after Episode 8.

In the episode, Conrad, played by Pierce Brosnan, tells Eddie the true origins of the Harrigan family and reveals that they are not really Harrigans. Eddie is also rejected by Gina and then confronted and bullied by Maeve, played by Helen Mirren.

During a sauna scene, Eddie stands up to Maeve for the first time. The exchange follows a harder stretch for the character: in Episode 7 Maeve cut Eddie in the face, and she had earlier sent him to Ireland to go up against the hardest guy in the country, a move that set him up for failure.

Boon's tease about Eddie's possible betrayal lands after Tattersall revealed Archie's body at the bottom of a lake, a discovery that implied a traitor inside the Harrigan circle.

The interview was published by collider.com.
